Editorial illustration assignment for illustration 4. For an article called “In Womens Tears, a Chemical Cold Shower.” It’s about how the pheromones in womens tears prevents men from achieving arousal. I need to go back in and add some leaves around the top and tweak some things.
Project 1 for comics class. We had to do an autobiographical 4 panel comic in black and white, split between two pages. I’ve never done a comic before, so it was fun! Mine was of my day off. The only time I got out of bed was to feed the cat and it was glorious.
Final illustration for media studio! We had to choose from 7 assigned articles and animate a seamless looping illustration in photoshop. I did mine frame by frame because I hate myself and also I forgot how to do what I planned on doing using the other method we were shown. It actually took a lot less time than I anticipated.
I chose to do mine on the New York Times op-ed “Make Patent Trolls Pay in Court”.
Some more personal work! I have a serious thing for dragons and powerful ladies. This is a character I made up after hearing about a little girl my friend was babysitting. Her name was Morag, which sounds less like a child to me and more like this.
This is Morag the Wyrm Witch, who is your typical maiden mother and crone type but also a fucking dragon okay
Final assignment for digital media. We got to illustrate a mock milk ad, and the only requirements were that it demonstrate the properties of milk with the logo creatively placed and be whimsical. So clearly lady-knights defeating dragons is the only logical conclusion. I like inverting typical gender scenarios sometimes, so here’s Georgina and the Dragon.
